I started off by hitting the gym and found suprisingly many of our fellow Stampin Up! guests in the gym already. What a fit group!
This morning we took a short Ferry ride (thank goodness short because I get motion sick like no other) to Ricky's Restaurant for some cooking lessons and a beautiful lunch. My group got to make rolled scallops in some kind of smoked pork with a lovely salsa. The chef showed us just what to do, and each group made a portion of the meal. We also had truffles, Duck Ravioli, salad, olives, and a whole lot of other items that I either can't spell or identify. But it was delicious! And very cool – what a neat experience and a gorgeous restaurant.
After lunch Jared and I worked a bit more on those swaps and then hit the gym again. Afterwards, we lounged about in the Stampin Up hospitality room and chatted away with fellow Australian demonstrators while Jared ate all the American candies the SU staff so kindly brought over.
At 5:30, Jared was in bed shivering and sweating, so it looks like he may be sick tomorrow for his birthday. Fingers crossed he'll kick it by the morning. Looks like my swaps helper is out of commission. where's Madeleine when I need her?
I got another very special delivery today! What a haul! Six ink pads, a new punch and stamp set (to be released in the Summer Mini) and two markers! We are so spoiled!
To top it off, Rachael made me a pamper pack because she wanted me to have a nice little beauty treatment even though I opted not to go to the spa. How very very thoughtful of her. That really touched my heart; thank you Rachael for being so sensitive and generous.
It's suddenly a very late night again; I'll sign off and finish off those swaps once and for all . . . especially since swaps are in a few short hours. Nighty night!
Hey Jacque, Great to see your having fun…looks very colourful. Hope Jared is feeling better soon. Enjoy. Chantell xx
