Today’s share is the pretty card I created in last week’s Facebook Live. I used the Heart Shaped stamp and die set, along with the Bloom Impressions papers for beautiful combination. Plus, I discovered a fun technique!

For the first sample, I used the yellow and peach papers from the Bloom Impressions pack. I wouldn’t normally put two floral prints together, but I think these work okay.
I cut the yellow in 3″ strips, and then used small strips of the peach to fill in the gaps.

Now here’s where I discovered “halo stamping”. I thought I had made it up, but someone commented on my live what it was called, so clearly it’s been done before. In any case, I love it!
Basically, stamp the image full strength. Next, stamp it again and again until all the ink is gone, moving slightly each time. Repeat step 2 until the desired effect is achieved.
I did this above with the delicate heart image in the Heart Shaped stamp set.

I repeated the technique with the gorgeous Heart Shaped stamp image on the inside, too. The Heart Shaped stamp and die set are FREE with qualifying purchase through the end of February!
I carried the Bloom Impressions papers through the inside of the card, which always makes a project feel extra special. These papers are also FREE with qualifying purchase with me through the end of February.

I made a second color way with the Petunia Pop / Blackberry Bliss print in the Bloom Impressions pack. For this version, side B was much more solid for quite a different effect.

And the inside. Very decadent for someone who loves these colors!
