Sometimes a pretty printed paper should be the star of the show, particularly one that is a border print like this gorgeous one in the Blackberry Beauty paper pack:

The print is relatively large, so smaller pieces would lose the effect. Between that and the pretty metallic accents, this particular print looks best if it’s the main feature of the card.
Splitting the paper into strips or sections is one way the project can be that little bit more interesting without detracting from the large image.

I used a few other prints from the Blackberry Beauty papers to accent without cutting into the image too much. I kept the prints very small so they didn’t compete with the large flowers.
I embossed the words with Gold Embossing Powder to compliment the tiny dots of gold in the flowers. I love how they pick up the light!

I think if the Gold Shimmer Ribbon were removed, this could possibly work for a masculine card, too.
