It’s been a hot summer here in New Zealand, which put me in the mood to make this bright, summery fun fold card with the Let’s Set Sail bundle. Perfect for any age, it’s a cute one for babies or a general card with a nautical theme.
I thought it would be fun to create a card with a little porthole peek-a-boo window on the front. The Let’s Set Sail images lend themselves more to whimsical rather than realistic, so I went with the bright colors of Coastal Cabana, Poppy Parade, and Granny Apple Green.
I feel it’s a good idea to make a window card like this a double opening. It only takes another quarter sheet of cardstock, but makes it so much easier to write in. You definitely don’t want your handwriting to show through the porthole on the front!
