I’m a big fan of Clean and Simple cards, so today I want to share all clean and simple cards with the Dainty Delight bundle, but some with more detail than others. I like how one can add more interest, while keeping the card still a clean and simple design.

First I started with the back design as a one layer card with the flower on top.
Next, I stepped it up to include two layers and then two flowers, with the same basic design. The Pool Party layer is embossed with the Pretty Flowers folder, one that feels somewhat underused in my craft room. It’s really pretty!

My third version included adding white ink to the Pretty Flowers panel, adding on one more flower, and also adding a mixture of five gems instead of the three rhinestones. Small changes, but can add so much more depth and interest.

The background is not watercolored, but rather it’s one of the stamps from the popular Oceanfront stamp set. It’s designed to be a sky, but it also makes a fantastic background with the light to dark color variation etched right into the stamp itself.
Don’t you just love it when images have several purposes?
