You Can Make It! Flowering Tulips Easy Fun Fold

Welcome to another month and some exciting new project inspiration! This month we are featuring the Flowering Fields Suite in both this blog hop and in our 12 Tutorial Collection. I’ve taken my fun fold idea from the talented Terri Gaines:

Just for something a bit different, this fun card features an accordion fold along the left hand side and a small card sandwiched over the folds.

I also made a poppy parade version, which has a lot more contrast. Which one do you prefer?

This project is NOT included in the Flowering Fields 12 Tutorial Collection (although I’m equally happy with the project I made for that). I did include this project in my Craft Day In class, for which you can register for immediate access of the project videos, instructions, and photos of five projects (including this one).

These Flowering Tulips look great with just a little ink added for depth. For this particular sample, the tulips are cut out of Mango Melody and then inked in Pumpkin Pie with a Blending Brush.
