Today’s share is another beautiful card with the Umbrella Days stamp and die bundle. As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, I just love umbrellas. Not sure why, but I just do. This project was a real pleasure to make, especially with the two-toned cardstock to give it that extra interest:

The umbrella handle is one of those classy, old fashioned types, which is quite fun. The umbrella itself is four pieces, giving lots of opportunity to mix patterns and colors for a unique umbrella every time. So cute!
And how adorable are those little galoshes?!

The Umbrella Days die set also includes those tiny daisies. I did put Iridescent Pearls on them, but you could just use the daisies for little, inexpensive embellishments, too. They’d also be great for a shaker card!

Gorgeous card Jacque. I love the square card so much. I am hoping that you can answer my question. What did you use to get the adorable sunflower on the umbrella? I thought maybe it was the die from Spring Corners, but that is not it. Great idea to use our two-toned cardstock!
Hi Jacomina – thank you for commenting. Two things: the small yellow flowers are from the Umbrella Days dies. Or if you mean the embossed flowers on the umbrellas themselves, it’s from a folder set called Fun Patterns. It’s now on the last chance list here. Or the new starstruck embossing folder would work nicely, too.
