Today’s share is two things I love: rainbows and coordinating products! As of next week, 3 August, there will be dies available for the beautiful Shaded Summer stamp set from the Annual Catalogue. I’ve both the Shaded Summer stamps and dies, plus a simple masking technique to create a rainbow of flowers for a very happy card:

Our theme for this month’s Global Video Hop is Cardmaking trends, and I chose to focus on the trend of using a rainbow color palette. Whether they are bright, soft, or deep colors, a rainbow arrangement is always so pleasing! As mentioned above, it’s one of my personal favorite color combinations.
I found the 2021-2023 In Color Gems to be a perfect compliment. They have every color of the rainbow except a blue, making them very versatile for a great deal of projects.

In the video below, I’ll show you how I made this card using the new Shaded Summer dies and the Shaded Summer stamp set. You will also need 5-7 ink colors and 5-7 Blending Brushes.
The idea for this card came from a Butterfly Brilliance version I made a few months ago. This fun technique really lends itself to bright colors.
Click here for a complete supply list for saving, printing, or shopping. Please note the dies are not on the list at the time of writing this; they will be available next week on 3 August as a free SaleAbration gift with qualifying purchase.

I love this card so much. I hope this has brought a smile to your day, too!
I’ll be sharing more SaleABration products and video tutorials on my YouTube channel. Join me!
