And the fourth color in the new In Color Series is Polished Pink! You might be thinking “another bright pink??” Stampin’ Up! does follow the color trends, so clearly vibrant pinks are hot. Here is how Polished Pink compares to the existing pinks in the range:
Pink may be your favorite color or it may be one you don’t use readily, but every color has its place in the right scenario and proportions.
I’ve paired Polished Pink with Mango Melody here for a very fresh, happy card. I think this is about the tenth card I’ve made with the Butterfly Brilliance – it’s such an innovative set with so many butterfly possibilities!
This fun card possibly looks more complicated than it is, which is always great. I love how the Butterfly Dies have an outline die for the butterflies, and then also a detailed die that matches, cut in white on this project.
I created a mask with the outline dies, brushed through both Polished Pink and Mango Melody to create the solid butterfly images. Then I’ve layered the detailed butterfly dies over the top.

Jacque, I was confused about the steps for blending of colors, and whether they were on white, then underlayed with the pink border.
I LOVE this card and would like to make one for each of my daughters’ birthdays.
