It’s time for another video hop with the Global Video Hop Design team! This month we each featured a “happy mail” card, which was perhaps something we’ve made to send to someone “just because” or perhaps a project designed with happy colors and a happy sentiment.
I wanted to use the Fresh Cut Flowers stamp set using a bright, happy color combination:

I gravitate towards square cards; I really like the square shape. And a “four square” card is attractive and always in balance.
I chose Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana, and Granny Apple Green for my four squares, going for bright and happy.

Each square is stamped with the medium-sized line art flowers from the Fresh Cut Floral stamps set, once in the same color as the cardstock, and once with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I chose a big, bold happy sentiment from the Good Feelings stamp set for my happy mail. Black and white tend to make bright colors feel even more bright, but I didn’t want too much black.
So I cut the words close with scissors and spaced them out to “lighten” the sentiment.
