Today’s share is for sure about a ten minute card, thanks to the Colour Me Irresistable Papers. This project is inspired by a sample in the Stampin’ Success (magazine sent to Stampin’ Up! demonstrators with project ideas and business tips):
The background is created using the Colour Me Irresistable papers, which already have an embossed pattern ready to go! Simply sponge lightly with Soft Sky ink to create a little backdrop of colour.
Tip: You must use Black Staz-On to successfully stamp on the embossed pattern.
Accent the final piece with the gorgeous Botanical Blooms die. Use up scraps to create any colour combination, but I’ve used Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, and Pear Pizzazz here. I’ve also used the Botanical Blooms stamp set to add some interest to the leaf.
A Candy Dot Brad Base and a Rhinestone make a lovely, neutral centre for the flower, too.
