Today’s share is inspired by a quick and easy card idea shared by the Stampin’ Up! designers at the start of lockdowns here in New Zealand. They were very generous and kind, and shared with us some quick ideas we could share online with our customers while we were unable to hold classes in person at that time.
It’s such a great little template idea, so I’ve brought it back with several variations!
Today’s share is a simple version using the Wonderful World stamp set. The basic concept is stamping an image, slicing it twice, and re-adhering to a base mat. Next, add ribbon through one of the “slices”. Easy!
I chose to ink up the image with several colors (using sponge daubers this time), but you can also stamp these beautiful images in just one color (see below). The Wonderful World stamps are a Distinktive style stamp, which means you just have to ink and stamp, and all that beautiful shading and detail is etched right into the rubber.
If you haven’t yet stamped with a Distinktive style stamp, it’s truly an AMAZING stamping experience!
I actually think this image stamped here in Night of Navy is equally as striking.
The Wonderful World stamps are a FREE SALEABRATION gift with purchase through the end of August, or while stocks last.
