I’m on a shaker card roll! These types of cards are fun, interactive, and everyone loves them, no matter their age! Today’s share is a shaker card featuring the Hey, Chick bundle, available through the end of June:
The first thing people ask me when they see this card is “what’s inside the shaker?” It’s buckwheat, and it’s a good example that shaker cards aren’t limited to embellishments are sparkly things.
Because buckwheat is a bit thick, I’ve used the Foam Adhesive Strips to create my shaker card. These are also great because there are no gaps when you use a strip of adhesive, so your shaker bits won’t go escaping. The Foam Adhesive Strips are also that little bit taller than Dimensionals, so your pieces have plenty of room to shaker around.

And it was such fun using the buckwheat on the front as very uncommon embellishments, too! It was perfect with the chicken image and farmyard theme.
