Today’s share is my contribution to the Stampin’ Fancy Friday challenge this month: Dots & Spots! I really didn’t have a lot of that was specifically dots, so I made my own with the Stylish Shapes dies and then embellished with those adorable Umbrella Days dies:

For the background, I was going for a water/rain vibe, so I blended Coastal Cabana, Summer Splash, and Pretty Peacock inks onto white cardstock. Then I splattered a bit of water over it using a Water Brush—just to lean into the rainy theme.
Once it was dry, I ran the whole piece through the new Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder for some texture. For the top white panel, I cut out various sizes of stitched circles to create little “windows.”

I just adore these umbrellas! I like all umbrellas, really. I used the new two-toned cardstock in Gorgeous Grape for a subtle color difference between the panels. A little light sanding on the edges gives a bit of interest, too.
Do you like that embossing folder on the umbrella? It’s one you might not expect; it’s the Adoring Hearts hybrid embossing folder. I thought the tiny details were perfect for such a small area.
