I hope you are all having a good weekend! Today’s share is a follow on from yesterday’s post, but this time I’ve used the same elements and arranged them quite differently. And I’ve used the same Ice Cream Corner paper pack, but a completely different color scheme:
I used the Tailor Made Tags here quite a bit; they are really great for adding that bit of color and journaling to a layout. It’s also an opportunity to add ribbon (my favorite!), even without necessarily tying a bow.
I loved this saying from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set. It’s probably not something a person living in New Zealand would put on a card too often, but on a layout with a melting ice cream cone . . it’s perfect!
Those CUTE x’s and hearts are from the Many Hearts Dies, which are discontinuing and are discounted – while stocks last!
I admit it was quite a challenge to create a layout with only a punch that coordinating with the papers and stamp set. By mixing the punched images from the Ice Cream Corner papers with very general “other” images, like the tags and the hearts, I was able to keep the ice cream cone a feature, but the layout not too uninteresting.
