Cutest Crew Dog or Cat Card – So Glad We’re Friends
Today’s share is one of the projects I taught at the recent Extravaganza events (Nelson, Auckland, Hamilton, and Tauranga – and soon Wellington!). I just loved the Cutest Crew stamp set, and what’s better than sharing something you truly love?

The first draft was with the cats, of course. For those who don’t know, I have three ginger cats, and I absolutely love them. And now that all my children are grown and married, I spoil them even more!!
I paired these cuties with the Lasting Linen background stamp (now on Last Chance) and the Lazy Daisy embossing folder on top. The linen stamp is subtle, but so nice. I’ve done tone on tone here, but you could go more bold with it, too.

The kitties are cute to color in! I used Stampin’ Blends and made a calico, stripes, and more. This is just one of the samples; you could also lave their little tummies white.
It’s also fun to make a matching envelope with leftovers. Just use the pre-made envelopes, and cover the flap with a matching cardstock or paper.

The Cutest Crew stamp set also has a puppy or dog image, which is equally as adorable. For this one, I went a little more neutral and paired the dog images with the Woodgrain Wonder papers. They still have a “cartoon” look about them, so the style of the paper and the images go nicely together.

For this sample, I cut the puppies apart, giving the main image that little bit more interest and depth. It’s more effort, but I do love the overall effect, if you have the time to do it.
