Welcome to another color challenge with the Colour Inkspiration Crew! We are all the way up to #131, and this challenge includes the warm, cozy combination of Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, and Sweet Sorbet:
Join the Colour Inkspiration Facebook Group to enter your own projects for each challenge, or simply to enjoy others’ creations. We’d love to have you!
For my entry, I’ve used those four colors as a watercolor wash background featuring the Perched in a Tree bundle.

The layers of this project are fairly simple, but I just love how this turned out. I’ve made this project with a few others, and every one turns out differently, but all look fabulous.
The gorgeous Aspen trees are from the Aspen Tree dies. I think they make a great quick card, particularly sympathy or Christmas. They are so gorgeous and detailed – too many other details would be too busy, in my opinion.

I did make a few other color combinations as I experimented and had my things out. These ones stray form the color challenge, but thought you might like to see some variations anyway here on my blog.
For this version, I’ve added Pool Party and removed the Early Espresso for the background.

And this is also a great card for a sunset! I’ve used Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie, and Crushed Curry for this one.
