Moonlit Flora in Secret Sea with Manuka Flowers
The Moonlit Flora Suite feels especially meaningful here in New Zealand, with its beautiful fern and koru imagery alongside the delicate mānuka flowers. Today’s project leans right into the suite’s richer, moodier colour palette for a darker card design than I’d normally create. I tend to gravitate toward plenty of white space and softer colours, so this felt like a fun creative stretch for me—and honestly, I’m really pleased with how it turned out.

I started with a Secret Sea card base and even blended ink around the edges to deepen the colour and add a little extra drama. A touch of tone-on-tone stamping in the background adds subtle interest while making the most of those beautiful stamped images.
For the layers, I pulled in a few of the patterned papers from the Moonlit Flora Designer Series Paper pack for a welcome splash of colour. This smaller fern print is just perfect for a piece this size—it adds detail without overwhelming the design.

I gave the label a slightly different look by adding a few small holes on either side with the Hole Punch Pack—such a simple detail, but it adds the ability to attach a bit of Secret Sea Ribbon.
To finish it all off, I added those beautiful koru ferns and the dainty mānuka flowers, which really make this suite feel so special. The tiny Butterfly Embellishments were the perfect finishing touch, tying in beautifully with all the other delicate details without stealing the show.
