My heartfelt prayers go out to Australia; the devastation is just heartbreaking. I ask for all of your prayers or well wishes for the tragedy there. We’ve had orange and dark skies here, but nothing to complain about, for sure.
Today’s share is another card with the new Beautiful Moments stamp set, and this is one that I shared in November at the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event here in Auckland:
I used the colours Very Vanilla and Rococo Rose paired with just a little brown for more vintage look. I stamped the young lady with Crumb Cake and then clear embossed her so I could add a bit of Rococo Rose watercolour without the Crumb Cake bleeding. Heat embossing with your classic inks “seals” them so they won’t bleed when wet. Now you can stamp in any colour and still watercolour in your image!
The background is the Stitched Lace die – one of my favourites. I spritzed it a little with a mixture of water and Soft Suede ink to give it a subtle tea-stained look, and then crinkled it up just a little.
I just adore that Rococo Rose metallic ribbon; it’s perfect for projects with a bit of gold or brown in them.
