Beautiful Moments easy fun fold card – and tips for using your Stampin’ Blends (alcohol markers)! Today’s post is more of a continuation of the Stampin’ Blends video I shared some weeks ago (see video below). I partially made up a sample while showing various tips, and today’s share is the card I made with the sample piece:
I’ve used the Beautiful Moments stamp set, of course a very special one to me because I got to assist in the design of this one. I wanted a stamp set that celebrated female relationships, particularly sisters and mother/daughter relationships. My three daughters are just the biggest joy in my life.
As it worked out, this set is also a really good one for demonstrating the Stampin’ Blends, with the skin tones and other areas to color in.
I’ve also made a Stampin’ Blends Skin Tones chart, which you can download here: www.stamphappy.co.nz/stamping-resources
I don’t really claim to be an expert with the alcohol markers, but the video below does go through some basic tips to get you started and coloring in successfully. I hope this video helps you avoid some pitfalls and frustration by me just sharing a few concepts to keep in mind.
If you are looking for some images perfect for your sister’s or daughter’s birthday, or for Mother’s Day, the Beautiful Moments stamp set might be just the right fit for something personalized and heartfelt.
