Today’s share features the Eclipse Technique, a really fun idea that adds a wow to your projects! We’re taking a fresh look at your dies and punches and using them in a way you might not have tried before. I’ve used the Stippled Roses stamp set, but once you get the idea, you’ll start seeing possibilities with many images.

For this sample, I’ve stamped the background a few times with that gorgeous Stippled Roses image in Crumb Cake. Next, I cut a heart out with the Hearts of Elegance dies, then cut another four hearts out of Cherry Cobbler.
Finally, stack up all five hearts and put them back in the die cut “hole” to complete the images again.

The favorite during my Facebook Live was this Night of Navy version, and it is quite striking! The Stippled Roses are stamped in Night of Navy, and then I used Boho Blue die cuts to stack underneath the heart for a different pop of color. You can just see it around the top left of the heart.

The Eclipse Technique adds interest to your project, while still keeping it clean and simple. I have several more samples to share with you this week, each time using the eclipse technique in a different way.
