Happy New Year! Welcome to my blog and another fun blog hop with the All Stars team, 12 demonstrators from around the world sharing projects with you!
My share today is from the heart. Not only did I influence the design of this stamp set, but this particular project depicts how I feel about my three daughters:
The technique here is called White Wash.
- Stamp and heat emboss your image onto coloured cardstock
- Paint or colour in the image with white (white ink used here, but you could also experiment with the white pencils)
- Let dry thoroughly
- Paint or colour over the top with the colour of your choice. It will be a bit muted compared to colouring on white, but an effective way to colour on darker cardstock
I’ve also used a partial image here for the words. Try using just one word or a phrase from your sentiment stamps to give you so much more versatility!
This font was by my request – the same font as the old favourite, Wonderful Words, but in a smaller size.
I hope you love this set, too, and find many ways to use it for Mother’s Day, sympathy, dear friends, nieces, grand daughters, and so much more.
You can receive the 12 tutorials from the All Stars team FREE (different projects to the hop) by simply placing an order with me during the month of January or you can order your copy below:
