Today’s share is the project I taught at the Auckland, Hamilton, Nelson, and Tauranga Extravaganza events: an easy fun fold with the hydrangea image from the Thankful Garden stamp and die set. I just love hydrangeas; I have three hydrangea plants in my garden right where I can see them out the window.

The Thankful Garden bundle is not only stamps and coordinating dies, but it also includes a set of five masks (stencils) that you can use over your floral images for super QUICK and PERFECT coloring and shading every time!
I used Boho Blue (retiring) and Crumb Cake for my hydrangeas, but they look equally great in purples and pinks, too.

The Thankful Garden Suite also does include matching papers, but I chose to pair these pretty flowers with the new Woven Textures papers instead, and I love the combination. I wanted the blooms to be the main focial point, so I kept that pretty much the only colored part of the project. I even kept the leaves a neutral color; I quite like the overall effect.

The card has two “arms” for opening, revealing the message and writing panel inside. The leaf from the same die set cut in white adds something pretty, without competing with the front of the card.
Would you like the measurements and instructions? I’ve got them ready for you! I just ask for a small donation of $5 NZD (about $3 USD) to help cover my time and website costs:

Wow I was confused there for a minute. One of the photos shows another emboss folder so I’m guessing that was another card. Love your cards. This color combo is gorgeous and I see that you also used the Fancy Borders Bundle!!! Beautiful job Jacque!! Also was wondering if this is A2 size – probably not since that isn’t what you normally use?
Hi Lisa! Yes good spotting. I had a few samples 🙂 I’m not certain what A2 is, but the finished card is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″. It should fit in any standard sized card envelope. 🙂
