The 2024 Artisan Design Team is feeling the spirit of the season. Today we are hopping, but this isn’t an ordinary hop. This is a special Secret Santa Gift Exchange Hop! Earlier we drew names and then got busy hand stamping a project just for them. The projects in this hop are all gifts to one another.
I was given the talented Alanna Wharf from Canada as my Secret Santa person, which was great fun for me. It just so happened that I met Alanna, her husband, and her boys when we were on the Stampin’ Up! trip to Mexico earlier this year.
Alanna’s style is very crisp, clean, and stylish. I cased one of her older cards that featured three tags in three colours. I changed mine up and made my tags all the same color, used hearts, and went for something that could be suitable to give to the blokey type of guys, like both our husbands are.
I loved how the background turned out! I used the Modern Herringbone embossing folder on the new Early Espresso Two-Toned cardstock for a more rough, rustic effect. This contrasts nicely with the bright red hears from the Hearts of Elegance stamp and die set.
