I had so much fun decorating the Book Treat Boxes last week for my Facebook Live! Today’s share is the project I demonstrated. I kept it fairly simple to show the basic idea. Once you have the basics, feel free to get creative and adjust to suit your style and supplies!
Not just for Christmas, these adorable Book Treat Boxes are perfect for year-round, small gifts. They are the perfect size for small chocolates or any other small gift.
I’ve used the Snowy Scenes papers for these boxes. I just love this print with the houses; it’s so cheery and bright.
The words are from the Humble Home stamp set, a personal favorite this year. It’s quite perfect with this particular print, too. And again, it’s not really that Christmas specific, so it could be used any time through the year.
For this version, I used the cute penguins. It’s easy to make the box re-useable by having the flap tuck under something rather than sticking it down. Make a simple sentiment label, either single or double layered, to hold the box closed.
