My project today is a favorite “go to” when you want a great card in minutes with minimal supplies! For today’s version, I’ve used the bold Hearts of Elegance stamp and die bundle, with its bold images and large sentiments.
While I LOVE how Stampin’ Up! coordinates printed papers with the stamp and die sets, don’t feel locked in to the color palette of the papers. The stamps can be any color you want!
For this project, I went with Melon Mambo, Night of Navy, and Lemon Lime Twist. I’ve always liked hot pink with a lime green, and the navy just tones it down a bit. The leaves I’ve stamped with the Night of Navy are a particularly nice shape.
Mask off the area for the words first, then stamp your flowers.
Next, mask the flowers, and then stamp the leaves. You can see this in action in the 60 second video below.
I finished the project with a thin strip of the new Ombre Glitter Paper. In hindsight, I think I should have cut it even thinner. You can use every single, little bit of Glitter Paper!
