I have a lot of hydrangea cards to share with you over the next few days. Today’s share was inspired by the Colour Inkspiration Challenge #95 using Highland Heather, Blackberry Bliss, Gold, Balmy Blue, and Gorgeous Grape:
I thought this colour combination was perfect for the gorgeous Hydrangea Hill Suite with the purples and blues. And the gold adds a wonderful rich element to these colours. I’ve used gold embossing, the Gold Hoops, Gilded Embellishments, and the Gold Twine:
The Gold Hoops are wonderful for creating a focal point with a bit of glitz. It’s like jewelry for your card!
I decided to die cut the hydrangea in Blackberry Bliss for something a little different than the usual purple or blue. I brushed this lightly with Versamark and then added Gold Embossing Powder. Gold on Blackberry is always a lush combination!
