Our Christmas Extravaganzas have now come to a successful close, and we so appreciate all who taught, attended, and supported us! Today’s share is the project I taught in Tauranga, Nelson and Auckland, inspired by Erin Gunson’s cute box:
I used the Frosted Floral Specialty Papers here for a fresh look to this Christmas project. The Mint Macaron with the Blackberry Bliss is a fun take on the traditional red and green combination.
Two particular things I love about this project: I love the little matchbox drawer in this box. And I also love the Swirls and Curls Embossing folder on the glitter paper. Why haven’t I tried this before? It’s a gorgeous effect!!
The box opens like a card with a little drawer underneath. It’s nice to have a little place to write a greeting with a small gift inside the box.
I deliberated for quite some time about having a Blackberry Bliss tree . . . but we had no complaints! I quite like it! I’ve inked the edges here with the Frost White Shimmer Paint, another use for that gorgeous paint (besides coloring with it and creating a shimmer spray). On the Blackberry cardstock, it looks silver.
This box would be adorable for any gift-giving occasion, decorated as you wish. Those who attended our Extravaganzas (now finished for the year, but click on the link to learn more), received both this project and the instructions. However, if you weren’t able to attend, you can purchase the instructions for this box below:
