We had such a great day on Saturday at the Stamp-A-Stack here in my studio! Lots of laughing, eating, and crafting. Everyone left with a pile of various card projects – a nice stash for both sending and inspiration.
My share today with you is a pop up card I taught at the Creative Inker’s Christmas Extravaganzas. I wanted to make something that had a more tropical feel for the holidays.
The Totally Trees set is perfect; it has such a variety of tree images.
These pop up cards are actually an easy concept, and it was such fun for me to see the delight on so many faces when they realized they could make something so awesome with ease!! Experiences like that make this “job” so fulfilling.
The colours here are Soft Sky, Sweet Sugarplum, Pear Pizzazz, and Early Espresso. I wanted a fresh colour combination to reflect our New Zealand summer.
The Festive Embossing Folder used here is on discount, too – but through the end of today (Monday) only!
Be sure to check out the discounts available Today Only:
Thanks for stopping by!
Could I have more detailed directions for this lovely tropical greeting? What did you use to make the waves and sand!
HI Beth – this stamp set (Totally Trees) had a “sand” stamp in it. It was just a line like you see above which I stamped several times using crumb cake ink. 🙂
Thanks! Do you know if there are directions online for making the pop up design? Love this card!
