Today’s share is a standard version of the Cascading Pleats fun fold card I shared on my Facebook Live last week. This is a standard sized version of this fun fold featuring the new Regal Winter Suite, coming 4 September. The papers in this particular suite are just gorgeous, so this was a great card to showcase these beauties.
When the card is closed, I like how one can see all three layers, which is a great opportunity to showcase the beautiful coordination of the Regal Winter Designer Series Paper pack. I just love these really rich, lush colors of Cherry Cobbler, Gold, and Blackberry Bliss together.
I used the Regal Flora stamps and dies, along with the Blackberry Bliss ribbon and coordinating inks to create the front of the card. I am quite partial to the distinktive stamps (the ones that have shading and texture built right into the rubber).
The stamped images are a nice place to pull all the colors together for a cohesive effect.
Add some of that beautiful stamping on the writing panel, too, to bring all the colors and images through.
I left the middle panel just blank to not only just showcase that gorgeous paper, but also to not add more thickness to the already-thick project.
