It’s time for the Global Stampin’ Video Hop, and this month our theme was layers, whether they be cardstock, ink or some other sort of layers. I enjoy doing and teaching ink techniques the most, so decided to go with an easy ink layering idea for a quick ten minute card.
My project features both the Trees for Sale stamp set (in the current Mini Catalogue) and also the coordinating Tree Lot Dies (available through end of August only or while stocks last):

You can make this card with just one color of ink pad! I used Soft Succulent here. By stamping off, stamping, and also double stamping, you can achieve quite a few shades even with just the one ink pad.
*Disclaimer: I did use Evening Evergreen for the words, but you could also stamp those in a neutral or in the same color used on the rest of your project.

The new Evening Evergreen Glitter Paper is a perfect compliment to the Soft Succulent ink. These images come from the Tree Lot Dies, ones you can earn for FREE with a qualifying order through August (or while stocks last).
This set has both solid and detailed trees that also mat together. I preferred just the more detailed ones for this particular card.
