When you’re at the last minute or short on time, sometimes a really quick card is just what you need! For today’s share, I’ve used various printed paper strips with one punch for a fast card option. Scroll down to see a stepped up version:
I actually quickly designed this card for a children’s Christmas card table at a community event, but found that adults were interested, too. We wanted something anyone could achieve, even a small child, and feel proud of what they made.
The Deer Punch made into Rudolph was an easy choice, and something children would also enjoy.
I made a few versions, using up the small strips of printed paper I had left over from classes and my own creations. The above samples use Boughs of Holly and the Sweetest Christmas papers.
The card bases are the Notecards and Envelopes (in Kraft, White, and Vanilla). They are really a good deal for a 20 card blanks and envelopes!
** Please note the Kraft Notecards & Envelopes also include a box
One of my favorite personal challenges is to take a simple card idea and step it up. I actually really love this version.
I’ve added the Stitched with Whimsy die around the edges, added a bit of Soft Suede ink to the Deer punch and to the card edges, and also added a few more gems. Still quick, but more details.
