Today’s share is a version inspired by a swap I received from my dear friend, Natalie Travis, on the Orlando Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip. I liked the idea of using the More Messages stamp as a background with no other motifs, making it a great one for any age or gender.

First, I stamped the background in Fresh Freesia on the Fresh Freesia cardstock for a subtle tone-on-tone effect. Next, I embossed the Blackberry Bliss layer (the dark purple) with the new Joined Together Embossing Folder. I’m really liking that folder – it’s got a patchwork type feel to it.

I stamped out a whole sheet of the More Messages words on Blackberry Bliss, and embossed them with Gold Embossing Powder. You could just stamp out part of the stamp and cut out the one you need, but I figure if I’m going through the process anyway, why not do them all. Now I have quite a few words ready to go for another project.
I’m really loving the Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon. It’s just a bit of sparkle, but still very light.
