In addition to making cards and gifts, I also love to create memory keeping pages with Stampin’ Up! products. And with the influx of talented Close to My Heart makers into our community recently, we’ve had a huge injection of new ideas and look forward to scrapbooking-specific products coming our way very soon!
For this layout, I’ve used the gorgeous Frames & Flowers paper pack, which includes three sheets of pre-printed die cuts. Having coordinating die cuts for the papers does make for a quicker layout. Plus, I have so many left over for making another layout or cards like THIS.
The people who come to my scrapbooking classes prefer double page layouts, so I’ve made this facing page to match. The frames that come in the die cut sheets don’t have to be frames; I’ve used them as mats here for a different effect.
The Love this Moment stamp set was designed specifically for memory keeping, so it’s a great one to add to your next order. I like the typeset font and the smaller words to tuck in as extra emphasis for the content of the photos.
It’s important to have some journaling or recorded memories somewhere on the page. I find a lot of people are shy about their handwriting or what they want to say, so a hidden tag works well. You can add additional photos instead, if you prefer.
The Keeping Tabs bundle is absolutely perfect for this.
The Keeping Tabs bundle is also great for just adding a little bit of an accent of color. This one is just stock down for effect.
The images in the stamp set really add to the tab; I would strongly suggest getting both the punch and the stamp set together for the bundle price.
I used a few elements from the Country Woods Suite on this layout, too, including the Eyelet Embossing Folder. I think this folder is just perfect for the look and feel of the Frames & Flowers pack.
