Hello, stamping friends! It’s been a huge weekend, and so, so great to see many of you after too long stuck at home! Today’s share is the last of my Bloom Where You’re Planted projects, a great suite of potted plants for a non-floral card:
One of the fun things I love to do with my cards is start out with a relatively quick and easy version, then step it up, then step it up one more time.
For this project, I started out with just a Basic White card base, the Paper Lattice, and a cute potted plant in the corner.
For the next level, I’ve added some specialty metallic paper for the pot, shimmer vellum for the leaves, some Loose Flowers for color, and an embossed sentiment.
I just love the splash of Polished Pink with the otherwise very neutral colors.
And for my more avid version, try trimming down the Paper Lattice and add gems to the flowers. I also used my Bronze Stampin’ Blend to add a bit of shading to the pot.
Still a fairly clean card, but with lots of elements and texture. I can see this as a really great get well card, too.
