The Friendly Seagulls stamp set is a must-have for anyone who loves adding a touch of seaside charm to their handmade cards. I’ve paired it for today’s sample with the Friends of the Ocean papers and the easy masking tape technique:

Side B of the Friends of the Ocean papers are bright and fun general prints, really quite suitable for any images. I kept the seagulls very neutral with just their beaks and feet colored in to tie in the fresh colors in the papers.

My daughter, Sofie, made this sample, omitting the Melon Mambo (pink) and creating the same with Wild Wheat ink.
The seagulls in the Friendly Seagulls stamp set are so cute; each one showing a bit of personality and looking like they have something to say.

Adding just a bit of Gray Granite to the edges of the birds makes them look “white”, even on a white background. It’s far more interesting like this than if I had just left them plain white. If you don’t have them already, I suggest Gray Granite or Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends for your stash.
And great news! The Friendly Seagulls stamp set is FREE with qualifying purchase during January and February 2025 (while stocks last).
