Today’s share is a sneak peek of an upcoming stamp in the 2025 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog: Peaceful View. I was fortunate to get this as a free gift during OnStage in Brisbane, and it was a great one to feature a subtle version of the eclipse technique:

First, I inked up the image with sponge daubers. Not only do they give a “softer” look, but using those allowed me to apply ink somewhat precisely. That being said, it’s not entirely precise, so one has to be okay with a little color mixing for this technique.

Once the image was stamped, I cut right through it with the two of the Textured Notes dies to create a frame.
Next, I did the same cutting with the backing board that comes with the printed papers (or just any thick white cardstock) a few times. Layer the frame portion up onto the white cardstock, and adhere to the card base. Next, slot the “inner” portion of the image down flat.
