Missing You: Feels Like Home in Watercolor

Today’s share is my personal favorite of the Feels Like Home samples I’ve shared so far. The Feels like Home stamp set is one that is detailed enough that it looks good with or even without coloring it in. For this sample, I’ve just used a few ink pads to add a bit of color to the image:

The Bloom Where You’re Planted papers in the background were just the right prints and colors to go with this rustic looking image.

The new Cork paper also fits in nicely with this color scheme, and adds a bit of visual and real texture without overpowering the main image.

I couldn’t resist adding the Crystal Shimmer Effects to the windows on the door. It’s just a subtle detail, but the details make all the difference when the image is relatively flat.

To add additional interest, I ran the painted image through the Painted Textures embossing folder so it looked like a canvas.
