Normally I don’t post on Sundays, but . . . I seem to have a lot more time recently! I hope you are all finding many things to do around the house, crafting being one, of course!
Today’s share is a double layout I created with the Honey Bee Bundle and the Golden Honey papers:
There is something about this bundle and papers that just has like an old western feel to it; I just adore it. I loved how this layout turned out! I used a sketch as my starting point on the Scrapbooking Global- Stampin’ Up! Facebook Group.
I love the style of these flowers, and they look quite stunning embossing in white on black cardstock. And my favourite element of this layout? The gold pearls on the honeycomb . . . so cute!
I typed up and printed out the journalling – a good tip for those who are hesitant to add their own handwriting. I cut it up into sections, inked the edges, and put them on. Great way to add the sentiments without being a “solid” block on the layout, if you know what I mean.
