I fell in love with the First Sight stamp set when I saw it at our Stampin’ Up! training event (OnStage) in November. Romantic, beautiful flourishes – what’s not to love?
Today’s share is a scrapbooking layout I created featuring this beautiful stamp set:
Being February, I really wanted to do a layout with a love theme (although most of them already are!). I do like the concept of color blocking or squares as it’s an easy way to fit a lot of photos on AND a great way to teach little techniques on a smaller canvas.
These cute little flowers come with the Bloomin’ Heart die – that gorgeous, lacy heart that is so popular at the moment.
Paper-piercing has always been a favorite of mine. I love subtle details. Best of all – this is a non-consumable, so use the paper piercing tool over and over and over.
I’ve also chosen to edge the pieces using WHITE ink this time for a leather, frosted look rather than an aged look.
The Summer Silhouettes stamp set makes an appearance to balance all the flourishes. The accents here are from the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit (see below). Such cute little sparkly enamel dots!
Happy Waitangi Day and thanks for reading! Shopping list is below and if you haven’t seen it already, please check out my new Virtual Stamp Club for those preferring online classes and purchases!
