Today has been mostly travel, but still lots of fun catching up with friends here at Stampin' Up! and from Australia. Madeleine and I left my house early (6am) this morning and arrived here in Hamilton Island sometime this afternoon. With the time difference, my head and body are a bit scrambled . . .
After settling in a bit at the hotel, I went for a walk while Madeleine helped Emma finish her swaps. It's so darn humid here that I was just pouring sweat even with a mild walk. No need for a sauna later; I got two for one this afternoon.
Just had time for a quick shower before heading down to the welcome reception dinner with everyone and all the Stampin' Up! "celebebrities". I got myself some water and turned around and found Madeleine chatting away with Shelli and Sterling Gardner and Emma! I'm not sure she knew exactly who she was talking to . . . but it was cool to see my little girl 
be so welcomed by everyone.
Our name places this year were these very cool Starfish – and yes, they are real. We smelled them and yep, real.
I came back tonight to find this goodie bag on our bed – a beach bag full of treasures for our outing tomorrow. Details are not yet revealed . . . .
I left Madeleine at the dinner because she wanted to stay up another hour to see Guy Sebastian sing downstairs here at the hotel. Who's Guy Sebatian? I'm not sure. My bed is calling and we have an early start tomorrow. Thank you all again for helping me get her to enjoy this wonderful trip today! xo

How cool you could take Madeleine too. what a wonderful experience for Mother and Daughter to share. I can feel some scrap book pages in the future!!
hehe – Guy won Aussie Idol a few years ago! lol He’s a nice boy too. Looks like you two are having a ball- and yes you DO most deserve it!!! man Emma has a lovely european tan!!
