It’s so easy to keep making these so fun shaker cards! (Video tutorial below) For this version, I’ve used the Whale of a Time Suite for an interactive card suitable for any age, any gender. This would make a great card for those sometimes-tricky ones for teenaged boys!
This sort of shaker card idea was shared at a recent Stampin’ Up! training event by Rosemarrie Gonzalez. She used the Ice Cream Corner Suite, another cute one to use.
The Whale of a Time papers are just perfect, with their little ocean scenes along the bottoms of the papers. The colours aren’t overly feminine, so I think anyone would love to receive this card.
I must admit, the best part of the Whale of a Time Suite are these adorable sequins! Can you see the little seashells? They make me smile every time.
I’ve also used these papers and sequins on this Ocean Scrapbooking Page. We’ll be doing this layout in Tauranga, Kelston, Nelson, and Manukau.
The printed papers and the shaker element are the focal point for the card, so I kept the sentiment just small and simple in the corner. A little flag of a coordinating print with a swish of the Braided Linen Trim added just enough.

Please enjoy this short video showing this shaker card below. Apologies for the excessive shadows during that time of day! (Learning as we go!)
