Welcome to the All Star Design Team Blog Hop featuring the Country Floral Lane Suite!
I’ve sometimes pondered why Valentine’s themed projects are so often pinks and purples, when at least half the time Valentine’s are given to men, who might more appreciate a different color scheme. So why note change it up?
I’ve chosen to use just the large heart (I love that watercolor striped look on this stamp) in various shades of blue-greens for a completely different effect.
I’ve paired those gorgeous hearts with a bit of Kraft embossed with brick in the background. I just love the Brick & Mortar folder; in this project it gives a bit of a graffiti wall sort of feel.
I liked this sentiment from the Country Lane stamp set. It’s so general that one could leave the inside of the card blank and then stamp it for the occasion when you’re ready.
The Rustic Metallic Dots are also a favorite of mine. They go with pretty much everything, but I really like them with soft colors to give a bit of contrast in both color and texture.
