Butterfly Basics was the first collection I ordered last month in preparation for the new Occasions Catalogue – love the clean vintage look! Plus the variety of images in this set make it very versatile.
The last few weeks Rob and I have totally made over three rooms in our house – from paint to clean to different furniture to a new colour palette. One of the rooms is my youngest daughter, Sofie’s, bedroom. It was more than worse for wear . . she has lived in there since she was three and it had not been repainted or gutted since then. Plus, she’s almost 13 and it was time for a more grown-up look.
She was very specific in her colour choices, which makes finding wall art or decor a bit tricky. The beauty of creating YOUR OWN art is you can have it fit exactly your colour scheme!
An added bonus is you can make these sorts of things using very few consumable supplies – great for those decorating on a small budget.
You could even add a family name or a child’s name here. Great for a baby shower gift or a very special wedding gift, too!
What do you think? Anybody would love a one-of-a-kind work of art in their room, especially if they got to help create it or if it was made just for them. Give it a try! Supply list below and I would love to answer any questions!

Hi there,
It was a Christmas gift from my sister in law, but I saw similar, if not the same ones, at briscoes.
