Stampin’ Up! comes out with a couple of new kits every month, and one of my favorites has been the Boho Beach kit. I liked the colors, but I also thought the stamp set was one that I’d use even after the kit was gone. So today’s share is one of those projects, done in a bright rainbow style:
I’ve always been quite partial to a rainbow palette against black and white. For this project, I went for a bright selection of colors.
I stamped the leaf image five times, and then slit the white cardstock and spread out the two pieces to allow for the words to peek through from underneath.
It’s a fun idea to stamp the sentiment over and over, like a strip of printed ribbon. It’s just another way you can use your stamps to create different effects.
I also added a bit of black “splatter” with the dotty image in the Boho Beach stamp set just to visually fill in some of the white space and to connect the images.
