This is a remake of a layout I did years and years ago – one that I showed at the Canberra Convention last month, too. I've used the Sweet Shoppe DSP and the Sweet Shoppe brads here for embellishment.
Aren't these brads absolutely precious? You don't need much else to dress them up – super on their own.
My little tag on the side was made by extending the large tag punch a wee bit and using those delicious textured papers from the Sweet Shoppe pack! A simple sparkly heart made out of scraps nicely finished this and ties in the colours.
The girls and I played around with this and decided to heat emboss the letters with the Iridescent Ice embossing powder. Just enough bling to stand out, but not too overwhelming. Plus, it darkened the cardstock just a tad, which gives a nice difference between the title and the rest of the page.
My intention was to use the coordinating Mouthwatering set with this page, but it just didn't need it in the end. There you are – a very nice layout using a smidge of DSP, four brads, some chipboard, and some scrap card!
