My personal favorite projects are taking something rather ordinary and making them extra special! All you need is an inexpensive notebook. I’ve used the small 1B4 notebooks and cut them in half here. I’ve shared something like this before, but I’ve done up some leftover kits with current images and came up with these cuties:
I used the Bookcase Builder stamp set to embellish these little purse-sized notebooks for something a bit different. I love how one can put various little things on each shelf, perhaps making the images and project personal to a particular person or to yourself. Plus it’s fun!
I was thinking these would be a nice little book for writing down those funny things kids say, memories, keeping lists, spiritual thoughts, inspiration, creative colour combinations as you see them . . .
I also made up a more pastel version using the Subtles colour palette.
I simply cut a notebook in half and then covered it with the Kraft cardstock (you could use any colour, of course). Then stamped the images on white, matted and adhered to the front.
I really enjoyed making this and love how they turned out! Fortunately, this Bookcase Builder is staying with us for another year, and I look forward to using it on more projects!
Don’t forget to check out the Retiring LIst and the Clearance Rack before those items on your wish list are gone – and grab a bargain while you’re at it!
And if you’re in New Zealand and are my customer or don’t already have a demonstrator, let me know if you’d like a copy of the new catalogue. I can’t wait to share all the new, exciting colours, images, tools, and products with you!
Thanks for stopping by, and stay dry tonight,
