Today’s share is showcasing a useful “essential” stamp set: Watercolor Shapes! I played around with this design with various colours, and decided I really liked the soft background combination of Pale Papaya and So Saffron:
The Watercolor Shapes images are meant to have that watercolored look, rather than a solid circle. I made the most of that and stamped the image first in So Saffron, and then used a Sponge Dauber around the edges with Pale Papaya ink.
I’ve been experimenting with contrasting colours lately, and adding that splash of purple just really pops against the yellow and peach background! I cut those butterflies with the Meadow Dies out of the Shimmery Vellum – they are much more sparkly than the camera captures!

It’s quick and easy to create a unique background by using one or a few of the watercolor shapes. I’ve created a short video below showing this useful set in various ways.
