Today’s share is a rendition of a card idea shared by my friend, Susan Sparrow. I loved her idea of how to use a sheet of 6×6 double sided printed paper for a standard sized card – with virtually no waste!

To begin, you will want to select a 6×6 paper (or cut down a 12×12) that has two sides that coordinate with each other. You will see both sides when the project is finished, so they need to pair nicely.
The selection of double-sided papers in my online store has many designs that have two sides that coordinate.

Next, you’ll trim off 1/2″ on one side, but don’t throw it out. Use this PDF template (and follow the short video below) to create your card.
You will also need a few small pieces of coordinating cardstock. Keep it simple, or embellish it up as suits you!

I just love these cards, thank you. Going to go see what I can come up with.
Jacque….what a great idea. I’m tired of collecting scraps and now I don’t have to!
