Beautiful You Vintage – In Three Variations!
Beautiful You is a stunning stamp set of sketched images available in the Occasions Catalogue. This one is so well-loved and enjoyed! At the recent series of our team Extravaganzas, I taught different variations of this card. Which one do you like best?
First, version one is my personal favorite. I’ve used the Cupcakes and Carousels Designer Series Stack here, using the Coral and Saffron prints paired up with the Lace Doilies.
I love this girl with a yellow, happy dress and a few drops of the Sprinkles Embellishments!
Version two was by far the most popular among our guests. Still using the Cupcakes and Carousels Designer Series Stack, this time I’ve used the Bermuda Bay and So Saffron prints. Everybody loves blue, and especially that gorgeous Bermuda Bay! On this sample I switched the words from being embossed to stamping directly on the paper, but at our events, everyone did the white embossing for consistency and ease.
We used the awesome Watercolour Pencils for colouring in the dancing girl. Every single person of the hundreds who did this project was successful. It’s really amazing how easy they are to use and the professional results they give.
And version three uses the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper. We still used the Watercolor Pencils – the choices of colors in the pack are so versatile and fitting for the papers and commonly used colors.
The base of the card is made with the Kraft Cardstock, something a bit more sturdy and a bit different.
If you like coloring in, you will absolutely love the new Watercolor Pencils. And if you love vintage, you would also likely really enjoy the Beautiful You stamp set.
